Kids Night Out!
Our monthly Kids’ Night Out will be on Saturday, April 20th from 6 PM to 9:30PM. We’ll be watching, ‘Pokémon Ranger and the Temple of the Sea’, eating pizza, playing games, and having fun! Hanabi Spring Classic Tournament
April 13, Saturday, we hosted the Hanabi Spring Classic judo tournament at Pinole High School. The little sumo competition was fun but the real judo tournament, with almost 40 Hanabi students, was especially exciting. We had 11 first place winners including our new Hayato Nagashima Sensei who beat a 7’ tall, 350 lb. opponent by full point while the Hanabi students all cheered. Video coming next week.
Women's Judo Class!
Starting in May, we’re launching our Women’s Judo Class. Join us on Thursdays from 7:15 to 8:45 for sessions led by Cheryl Sensei. Don’t miss this empowering opportunity to learn judo!
San Jose Judo National Training Camp: April 27th-28th
We invite Honto members of the Hanabi Judo family to register and enjoy a fantastic time together in San Jose. It’s an excellent opportunity to gain experience and make new friends with fellow judoka. Hanabi team members are required to participate for both days of the training camp.
