Hanabi will be hosting a developmental tournament at our dojo on April 19. This event will be especially for our newer competitors, offering them multiple matches in a more supportive environment. We expect all of our Hanabi honto students to compete.

Richard Hodges – President of the Berkeley Brain Club, researcher who helped develop the “hearing” in your devices and Judo World Champion from Albany Judo – came by Hanabi on Wednesday April 15 to talk about his varied experiences.
Join judoka from across Northern California and instructors from Sweden and Germany at this special training camp. Team Hanabi members are expected to attend the Saturday, April 18, session.
