On Saturday, February 21 Hanabi will be having an In-Class Shiai with some very special guests. The Hajime and Chibi students will have their sumo competition at 9:55 followed by the Honto team judo competition at 11:00. We will be adding Kokushikan University students to each of our teams! Following the shiai we will be having a pot-luck so bring your favorite dish to share.
Kokushikan University of Japan arrived on Monday and was at Hanabi on Wednesday, February 18. They will also be at Hanabi on Saturday, February 21.
Palo Alto Tournament
Palo Alto Tournament will be Sunday, February 22 and 20-25 Hanabi students will compete along with 8 Kokushikan friends.
After almost a year with us at Hanabi, we are sad to say the Rei Sensei will be returning to Japan where he will begin a new job with Deloitte, one of the world’s most respected financial services company.
