Our monthly Kids’ Night Out will be Saturday, October 10 From 6 PM to 9:30 PM. We will be watching The Lion King, eating pizza, playing games, and having fun! Cost: $40 with $5 for pizza (optional). Please register by 5 PM on Friday October 9th.
Shuhan has been selected to represent the United States at the PanAmerican championships in Cancun, Mexico in November! She will be competing in the Under 13 year old category and facing opponents from Brazil, Cuba, Canada and more. But Shuhan is up to the task. She has been with us since she was five and first won the National Championship in Atlanta when she was 9. This year she has won medals at both the Junior Olympics and the Youth Nationals. This coming Saturday, October 10, City College of San Francisco will be hosting a judo clinic featuring international champion Anzu Yamamoto of Japan. This is open to judo women of all ages and is a wonderful opportunity to experience our big judo community. It will be at CCSF’s Martial Arts Room, 50 Frida Kahlo Way, San Francisco.
The Fresno Judo tournament will be on Sunday, October 18. The day before there will be a Clinic given by national and international champion Janine Nakao Cotti.
