This coming Saturday, September 15, from 6:00 to 9:30 pm will be our next Parents’/Kids’ Night Out at Hanabi. Come eat popcorn and pizza, watch movies and play games with your friends and with our wonderful Hanabi Sempais and Senseis. The Pokemon Movie will be shown. Cost: $40 with $5 for pizza (optional). Please RSVP by 5 PM on Friday, November 14th.
Parent’s Night Out Information and Registration
Our Sunday, November 9, Hanabi Classic Judo Tournament was held at our Hanabi dojo. About 50 of our Honto students were there along with players from around Northern California. There was great judo and a festive atmosphere as 15 of our Hanabi students earned 1st place. Our new glass medals with the Hanabi logo were especially popular.
During the month of November we will be giving out Hanabi’s “Golden Gift Cards.” We will be handing them out to our members who can then gift them to a friend for a free month of judo. They are beautifully printed in both English and Japanese.
Hanabi will be hosting a week of “PokeCamp” in Albany during winter break from December 29-January 2. Like our popular summer camp, we will have judo and art activities – such as origami and anime – related to Pokemon.
