Coach Mallya, the national judo coach for Tanzania, is visiting Hanabi this week. Last year Mallya Sensei attended the Paris Olympics with one of his athletes (who actually won his first round match!) and his next project will be getting judo into the schools of Tanzania. He will be visiting our classes and learning how Hanabi runs its many school programs. Please say hello when you meet him this week.
Our Sunday, November 9, Hanabi Classic Judo Tournament will be held at Hanabi Judo. All students in the Honto class are required to attend. We will be welcoming guests from across Northern California!
