DeLeon Open Work Out and January In-Class Shiai

Friday, January 26 we had our biggest in-class Shiai (tournament) since before Covid! Our little Sumo competition was full of energy as always but our Judo contest was amazing. 26 of our students divided into 4 teams with all fighting intensely.  The cheers were deafening! In the end, our little Kieren, who had to fight bigger students with more experience, was awarded a pink gi for her spirit!    Saturday, January 27 there was a workout in Petaluma and Jargal, Theo R., Shuhan, Chelsea and Kemet attended. They learned new techniques, new games and made new friends. Congratulations for our Friday and Saturday judo kids!
