Hanabi will be hosting a week of “PokeCamp” in Albany during winter break from December 29-January 2. Like our popular summer camp, we will have judo and art activities – such as origami and anime – related to Pokemon.
2025 Winter Pokecamp Information and Registration
On Saturday, December 27, after Honto Class at 12:30, we will prepare our 2026 “Nengajo” or New Year’s Cards. In Japan greeting cards are sent out on New Year’s rather than on Christmas as we do in the US. Hanabi, following the Japanese tradition, will be sending out cards to our friends around The Bay and around the world. Come enjoy the afternoon with us as we apply stamps, address cards and write notes. We will have refreshments and snacks for our helpers.
